We got to bring Lincoln home for the first time today. The dog’s were (and still are) very curious about this little thing that moves around and makes strange noises. Red was doing his best to lick him, but Red has been known to lick dirt, wood, walls, etc, so that wasn’t too surprising. Henry told us that he’s not totally sold on Lincoln yet, but that he would give him a fair shot. My money is on Henry warming up to him real soon.
Lincoln’s first full day was a busy one. He ate, slept, ate, slept, ate, slept, passed his hearing test, ate, slept, ate, slept, got circumcised, ate, cried, ate and will hopefully fall asleep (for a long time) any minute now. Please?
Lincoln Ashby Boyd was born today (February 24th, 2009) at 5:13pm. He weighed 7lbs, 13 ounces and is 21 inches. He is definitely the best thing that Ann and I have ever done.
